About TZM: The Zeitgeist Movement is a global sustainability activist group working to bring the world together for the common goal of species sustainability before it is too late. Divisive notions such as nations, governments, races, political parties, religions, creeds or class are non-operational distinctions in the view of The Movement. Rather, we recognize the world as one system and the human species as a singular unit, sharing a common habitat. http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com

Help Support Zday Events

As one of the most pivotal awareness actions we conduct, ZDAY has historically been a great public awareness success with an average of 350 events occurring across 60 countries each year since 2009. These events are put on by volunteers and are usually free events. Many incur costs for venues, materials, printing, etc.. If you're unable to attend a Zday event this year but wish to contribute to our efforts, please donate through your local chapter.

Z-DAY 2010

Thankyou to everyone for making Zday a huge success!

3 new chapters in California were formed and approximately 20,000 people signed up on the global Zeitgeist Movement website during the day!

March 20th Update: There were 337 events in 70 countries around the world on Zday 2010.  Approximately 20,000 people signed up at the global website.  Updates for Zday can be found in the ZMCA forums and the Zday2010.org Archive.

ZDAY 2010 is NOT a protest! We do not advocate or endorse traditional protests. The Zeitgeist Movement is not a political movement. We do not wish to create that kind of label for ourselves. Instead, it will be a peaceful and educational rally where the focus will be based on educating the public about The Zeitgeist Movement, and proposals of The Venus Project as a possible course of action to the conduct of human affairs and to solve our technical and social problems.

Please join us on March 12 for a 3 hour presentation introducing, surveying, and expanding upon the tenets of the Zeitgeist movement and Venus Project. These organizations, in tandem, advocate a change in the dominant cultural, social, and intellectual climate of our era. To achieve this, a serious evaluation and modification of our current human value system is necessary, along with the humane application of science and technology for social concern. This program is a prologue to Z-day 2010 and will contain a synthesis of information ranging from the Zeitgeist orientation guide, to the "Where are we now?", and "Where are we going?" episodes. A supplemental segment showing the current state of technology and its possible applications will follow. To conclude this presentation; public discussion, Q & A, and activist ideas will be facilitated. For information on the venue, please refer to the link provided. Hope to see you there! http://www.kpbs.org/places/scripps-miramar-ranch-library-center/
